our papua new guinean coffee comes roasted with a rich backstory. this was the first full size bag of coffee we bought back in 2018. nearly 150 pounds of green coffee beans made us wide-eyed with wonder of what other origins we'd order next in this size. looking back, it shows our humble roots in a lovely way: we were so excited to just have an entire bag of coffee to ourselves.
 
in addition,  this coffee comes from several hundred producers who each only have a couple coffee plants in their front yards, very similar to traditional gardening in the states. talk about humble roots!
